"Wings for Wings" Will Be Popeyes' First Super Bowl Ad

Popeyes never shies away from a challenge… even the biggest stage of them all: the Super Bowl. In our newest fun-filled activation called “Wings for Wings,” Popeyes is offering free wings to fans in the U.S. and Canada if a team with wings in its name or gear wins Super Bowl 58. This comes as Popeyes introduces wings to its permanent menu, offering five delicious flavors. In a playful video, the Popeyes mascot Poppy talks about their love for football and takes a lighthearted jab at KFC, calling out their limited flavors. As our CEO Joe Maglio said, “‘Wings for Wings’ will give all fans something to cheer for leading up to the Big Game, whether their team is still in the hunt or not.”
