McKinney is assisting with the relaunch of the portfolio school, which will offer a hybrid model with certificate options and flexible specialization choices. The revamped program will provide affordable courses both online and on-campus at VCU, with plans to introduce stackable credentials and potentially lead to an undergraduate degree. The reopening is expected in summer 2024, offering copywriting, art direction, design, and content creation classes taught by industry leaders and subject matter experts.
