In the face of declining relevance, Corian tasked McKinney with modernizing its brand identity. We created the Corian Moodboard Maker, an interactive design tool that combined Corian design materials with colors, textures and photos to create striking new design palettes, taking the brand from old-fashioned to inspirational. Suddenly, everyone was a potential designer.
To amplify the tool, we partnered with Bobby Berk of Netflix’s Queer Eye to create and share his own Corian moodboard on social and use it as a tool for his own interior design projects. We also went to New York City’s Grand Central Station and gave commuters the chance to create their own moodboards in real time.
