McKinney LA’s Director of Strategy Anita Schillhorn writes in Adweek about how women strategists — as well as people of color — are once again finding themselves on the outside looking in. And she’s not having it.
In the article, Schillhorn talks about the continued status quo of the same voices — white male voices — always surfacing as experts, and why it’s more important than ever to highlight and provide traction for diverse, nondominant voices in advertising and marketing. An ongoing battle she calls the “hand-to-hand combat of fighting bias.”
