McKinney to participate at 2021 Yard Con
McKinney will sponsor a booth at this year’s Yard Con, a digital career fair and conference designed for Black students who are recent graduates, or who will be graduating. It will run all next week (February 22–27) and McKinney will be actively present at their booth from 2-4 p.m. Monday–Friday, 2/22–2/26. Yard Con will also offer mentoring Monday–Wednesday of the event, starting at 4 p.m. each day.
“We are participating in Yard Con because of our commitment to bring authentic diversity — insights, experiences, perspectives, VOICES — not just into McKinney but into our industry,” said McKinney Chief People Officer Sue Roche. “It is so important for us to explore, and participate, utilizing as many new avenues as possible to make connections with people who can have a powerful impact on the future of our industry and the businesses of our clients.”
