One Club panel seeks to boost young Black creatives
Next Wednesday, September 16 at 2 p.m. (ET), McKinney will host the One Club Carolinas panel, “How Young, Gifted Black Creatives Can Break into the Ad Industry.”
The panel’s purpose is to connect young Black creatives with knowledge, tools, and ways to connect with an industry that historically has been anything but a place where they can be hired and thrive. The topics covered will range from where to get help and how to build a portfolio to why ad schools are important and how to find a mentor. The panel will also field questions.
Led by McKinney Chief Creative Officer Jonathan Cude and moderated by 600 & Rising Founder Bennett D. Bennett, the panel will include VaynerMedia Creative Director Clarence Bradley; Droga5 Art Director Germany Lancaster; Goodby Silverstein & Partners Art Director Malika Reid; and Google Brand Studio Creative Lead Brandon Viney.
