McKinney breaks down the CARES Act

April 14, 2020

We dove in and combed through the CARES Act, the $2.2 trillion coronavirus economic stimulus bill. We broke down the more than 800 pages to provide a digestible overview of the bill and what it all means for key industries — from airlines, automakers and hotels to major household goods, restaurants and retail.

“I’ve always been pretty good at reading comprehension, but it turns out stimulus legislation isn’t written for laypeople,” said McKinney Group Strategy Director CJ Franzitta. “There’s a lot of coded language. Our hope is that by simplifying and pulling out the choicest nuggets, we help the reader cull the wheat from the chaff.”
