UNC Female Quotient event to be held at McKinney
On Friday, March 20, the Female Quotient at UNC will host a panel discussion event at McKinney in Durham, NC. The panel will feature the “The Women of McKinney,” who will talk about their personal stories, including their career paths, what it’s like to work at a creative agency, and their views on diversity, inclusion and equity. This event is open to all undergrad students in the Triangle area. McKinney is located at 318 Blackwell Street in Durham, NC.
Doors open at 11:45 a.m., with an agency tour starting at 12 p.m. The panel discussion, Q&A, and networking begins after the tour. The panel will be moderated by McKinney’s Executive Director of Account Management Lisa Hughes, who is a UNC adjunct faculty member of the Hussman School of Media and Journalism at UNC.
Founded by Shelley Zalis, the Female Quotient is a global organization working to empower women in business. Last year, as part of their decision to make their presence felt on college campuses, the Female Quotient launched a chapter at UNC.
