These Crocs were made for walkin’ (and rockin’) at CMA Fest
The McKinney experiential marketing team descended upon Nashville and CMA Fest this past weekend (June 6–9) for a Crocs™ activation featuring country music star Luke Combs.
The activation was centered in the heart of Nashville, with a booth designed to look like a Crocs store — it offered a full range of Crocs, including Crocbands and sandals. But the star attraction was an exclusive, limited-edition Luke Combs x Crocs Classic Clog, only available during the festival.
The Crocs booth also featured two photo walls where fans could take fun photos, one with a giant Crocs shoe with a cutout hole for guests to insert their heads, making them look like Jibbitz™ charms, and the other featuring a 3-D Luke Combs x Crocs logo with distressed-wood background.
Not even heavy rain could stop Crocs fans in their pursuit of the clogs and custom CMA Jibbitz that were created in partnership with Combs. Some festivalgoers lined up as early as 5 a.m. on the festival’s opening day to ensure they would walk away (literally — some fans were swapping their cowboy boots for the comfort of Crocs) with the prized clogs.
