The Corian® Moodboard Maker, the next-level tool that helps designers and their clients create striking new spaces using Corian® design materials, recently found an even more striking space — Grand Central Terminal.
On August 1 and 2, McKinney collaborated with Corian® Design to create an interactive exhibit in Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall that invited commuters and passersby — 750,000 people pass through on a daily basis — to create their own moodboards by using colors, textures and photos that the Corian® Moodboard Maker put at their fingertips.
In addition to the three quarters of a million people moving through Grand Central, the exhibit was open to people in countries around the world. Through social media, virtual users could watch a livestream and create moodboards. And using the hashtag #corianmoodboardmaker made it possible for their moodboards to appear on the exhibit’s display in Grand Central Terminal.
