Fourteen years ago, we produced pro bono work for the La Leche League that pointed out the direct link between breastfeeding and healthy babies. Breastfeeding reduces the risk of obesity, Type 1 diabetes, childhood respiratory diseases, and even some cancers. In light of current events reported by The New York Times in this article, we feel the subject matter our work talks about is even more important today, perhaps, than it was then.
Furthermore, USA Today reported here that Utah and Idaho have finally joined the rest of the country in making it legal for women to breastfeed in public.
Because of the current state of affairs, of the threat of moving backward when science points the way forward, we are reintroducing our work to the world here. We hope you’ll have a look.
