Coming of age at Carolina
As winter turns to spring (we swear springtime is coming), the thoughts of college seniors turn from attending classes and writing papers to finding jobs.
McKinney Chief Talent Officer Sue Roche took time recently to speak to the Society of Undergraduate Anthropologists at UNC. In the course of her discussion, she touched on some concerns facing liberal arts majors entering the workplace, and how insatiable curiosity, critical thinking, and organizational skills can go a long way in helping them get their foot in the door.
A little self-awareness goes a long way, too. As Sue pointed out, “Knowledge is power. Knowledge about yourself is even more powerful.”
