Mizuno’s #mezamashiirun promotion gives away more brilliant runs

On July 3, Mizuno Running and Runner’s World launched the newest Mezamashii Run Project contest, a hashtag-based promotion encouraging runners nationwide to show what mezamashii running means to them by uploading a photo or video to Twitter, Instagram or Vine using the hashtag #mezamashiirun. All entries are shared on mezamashiirun.com and should aim to show elements of a sensational, energized run. More than 30 photos and videos have already been submitted.

Entries tweeted or Instagramed by midnight on August 3 using #mezamashiirun are eligible to win one of 12 prizes. Two grand-prize winners, one winner for the photo contest and one winner for the video contest, will meet Bart Yasso, the chief running officer for Runner’s World, wherever they are most inspired to run in the continental U.S. Bart promises to give each winner his personal training advice, develop a customized running plan just for them and share his running wisdom. Ten other runners (five who posted photos and five who posted videos) will win a free pair of Mizuno running shoes. All winners are sure to have even more brilliant runs.

Runners should carefully consider each photo and video they post: Winners are chosen based on their entry’s originality, creativity, presentation, inspirational value and consistency with the “brilliant run” contest theme. Winners will know on or about September 23, 2013, via Instagram comment or direct Twitter message, if they’ll be training with Bart or running in a brand-new pair of Mizunos.
