Lenovo’s big ambitions

Our partners at Lenovo have big plans for next week’s International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The News & Observer reported that a year ago, Lenovo ranked fourth among PC marketers. Today, it ranks second and has set its sites on vaulting past HP to become No. 1.

The News & Observer added that Lenovo is pursuing a “four-screen strategy” and is widely expected to unveil its first “smart TV” and demonstrate its cloud offerings at CES. “We do have very bold ambitions,” said Lenovo’s Nick Reynolds.
