Josh talks personal branding with Duke Marketing Club
The Duke Marketing Club hosted its first meeting of the fall semester with a visit from McKinney Talent Recruiter Josh Janicek. Never a guy to pass up a chance to meet great young talent, Josh shared his insights on how to build and develop one’s personal brand using LinkedIn, Twitter, blogs and other channels. He reviewed how these channels have changed the way employers/recruiters interact with and recruit student talent.
According to Josh, many students are currently being recruited and should expect to have offers by the end of December. “Duke students are focused, entrepreneurial and passionate with endless opportunity at their fingertips yet manage unbelievable expectations,” said Josh “As with any talk like this, my hope is that they have gained a nugget of insight that may help them now or down the road.”
