The Jay Chiat Strategy Festival, the world’s first international festival of strategic thinking, will be held October 11-13, 2010, in Miami, it was announced today by the 4A’s and its Strategy Committee.

  • Andrew Delbridge, chief strategy officer, McKinney, has been named chairman of the 4A‚Äôs Strategy Committee responsible for programming the Festival that recognizes the role of strategy in building brands, businesses and markets.


  • During the two-day celebration of brilliant communication and the strategic thinking that made it possible, Festival participants will get an insider‚Äôs view on how transformational thinkers find their inspiration and make things happen ‚Äî from technology strategy, social media strategy, communications/media strategy and design strategy to for-good strategy, brand experience and research innovation.


  • The Festival will also feature the 2010 Jay Chiat Awards for Strategic Excellence. Open to brilliant strategic thinkers, including creative agencies, media companies, research organizations and more, the awards honor the best examples of strategic thinking from around the world. Nearly 50 judges from agencies and clients participated in the extensive judging process and short-listed 51 finalists from 10 categories.
