McKinney Alum featured in Billboard
Adam Blumenthal, CEO and Chief Strategist at Curious Sense, a digital product design studio, today authored an op-ed article at the invitation of Billboard Magazine.
Following the success of several innovative digital products that Blumenthal and his Curious Sense team designed for entertainment companies, Billboard asked Mr. Blumenthal to reflect on his experience working in the music industry, following a long career as a digital strategy and production leader at elite advertising agencies.
In the op-ed article, published on June 11, 2010 on Billboard’s web site (www.Billboard.biz) and in the June 19 print edition, Blumenthal shares his observations of music industry communications and product strategies.
“I came into the music industry after spending many years at big ad agencies,” Blumenthal remarked. “The great agencies are very sophisticated about the process by which they arrive at compelling ideas – great research, smart strategy, analysis. These are the things that inform the best creative work. I was privileged to spend many years of my career at superb agencies like R/GA and McKinney.”
