“This group has such rich talent, both as managers in their respective fields and as true mentors of the people they lead,” said Brad Brinegar, McKinney chairman and CEO. “They are major contributors to the success we have achieved for our clients. I am inspired by them every day.”

Amy Baker joined McKinney in 2001 as senior broadcast buyer from The Martin Agency where she had also served in that role. In 2007, she was promoted to associate media director. As a key player in day-to-day client relationships and contributor to the creative process, Baker has built a broad network of colleagues in client, agency and media circles. Her work for Audi of America and the NASDAQ Stock Market helped McKinney earn top honors from The EFFIE Awards, The One Show, two Yahoo! Creative Summits and the Cannes Advertising Film Festival. A native of Richmond, VA, she holds a B.S. in mass communications from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Walt Barron joined McKinney in 2005 as an account planner from McGarrah/Jessee in Texas where he served the same role. In April 2007, he was promoted to senior account planner. Barron led the strategy function on the EFFIE-winning Polaris “Duel” campaign. He also presented strategy for successful pitches for McKinney’s Virgin Mobile USA, Coldwell Banker and Brown-Forman accounts. A native of Knoxville, TN, Barron holds a B.A. in history from Davidson College and a M.S. in mass communications from the Brandcenter at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Becky Minervino came to McKinney in 2005 from BEAM, a Boston agency where she headed strategic planning and online channel analysis for MINI USA. Her efforts included steering MINI’s award-winning e-mail marketing program and the MINI Owners Lounge. Minervino’s previous experience includes digital, direct marketing and branding efforts for clients such as PUMA, IKEA, Jaguar Cars, and American Express.

At McKinney, Minervino has served as both account director and interactive strategist for Qwest Communications. She also helped create Virgin Atlantic Airways’ first-ever mobile program for the experiential marketing campaign, “Love From Above.” A graduate of Columbia University, Minervino holds a B.A. in English.

Walker Teele joined McKinney in 2005 as account director from Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners where he also served in that role for John Frieda Hair Care, NetJets, Credit Suisse First Boston and Meow Mix. He began his career at Saatchi & Saatchi where he served in account management in that agency’s Warsaw, London and New York offices.

At McKinney, Teele has led integrated teams for Virgin Mobile USA, Southern Comfort and The NASDAQ Stock Market where he helped develop the EFFIE-winning “Listed on NASDAQ” campaign.

Teele taught English in Slawno, Poland for “World Teach International” at Harvard University’s Center for International Development. He holds a B.A. in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Bill Ward joined McKinney in 2005 as account and business development director from Trahan, Burden & Charles in Baltimore where he served as an account director. Before that position, Ward spent four years at GSD&M in Austin, Texas as an account supervisor for that agency’s Charles Schwab and Land Rover North America accounts, among others.

At McKinney, Ward led the EFFIE-winning campaign for Sony’s Bravia LCD TV, resulting in one of the most successful new product launches in Sony Electronics history. As primary brand team and client relationship leader for Virgin Mobile USA, Ward helped develop one of the most talked about campaigns of 2007, “You Rule.” He also contributed to McKinney’s recent successful bid for Gold’s Gym. A native of Long Island, Ward holds a B.S. in corporate communications from Southern Connecticut State University.
