10th Annual One Show Interactive awards the best ads from around the world

One Show Interactive, the interactive advertising industry’s most prestigious awards ceremony worldwide, announced the winners of Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencils earlier this evening, May 11th at New York’s Skylight Studios. The One Show Interactive awards, produced by the non-profit organization The One Club, celebrated the year’s best international new media and web design. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of One Show Interactive, a showcase of the best of the decade took place at the ceremony.

“We are excited to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of One Show Interactive,” said Mary Warlick, CEO, The One Club. “Our long standing passion for recognizing good creative work within new media and web design was evidenced with the creation of this awards program in 1997.”

McKinney won a Silver Pencil in the Integrated Branding category for the Polaris Duel, a multi-media, ATV riding challenge issued to the CEOs of Polaris competitors to settle, once and for all, who builds the toughest ATVs in the world. The agency also earned a Bronze Pencil in the Other Interactive Digital category for the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival’s World’s First Internet Fire. While flames ravaged the old site’s cardboard shadowbox environment, word of the tragedy spread thru mass emails, viral news clips and a temporary Web page. The fire burned progressively for three days. On the fourth day, a new site was revealed.

McKinney also earned merit honors for its Pherotones campaign for Oasys Mobile.
