2007-2008 AAAA names McKinney chairman and CEO Brad Brinegar to board of directors
The American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA) has announced the election of the 2007‚Äì2008 officers and board of directors that represent agencies of varying sizes throughout the United States. McKinney Chairman and CEO Brad W. Brinegar will serve as a director representing the Southern Region.
Brinegar, 52, joined McKinney in 2002 from Leo Burnett USA where he had served as Chief Executive Officer. Since then, McKinney has been recognized for leading the industry in integrated marketing communications, crafting rich conversations to engage consumers in building its clients‚Äô brands. ‚ÄúI look forward to working with the AAAA‚Äôs to make sure that it stays at the forefront on key issues affecting the health and growth of our industry,‚Äù said Brinegar.
In addition to the board appointment, Brinegar is a regular speaker at both AAAA and Association of National Advertisers (ANA) conferences. He serves as vice-chairman of The Hill Center in Durham and co-chairman of The Durham Roundtable Committee on Crime. He is also a member of The 50 Group in the Triangle of North Carolina and The Economic Club of Chicago. He was a cultural anthropology/philosophy major at Dartmouth, where he rowed on the varsity crew team and edited the college‚Äôs humor magazine. He earned an MBA in finance from Columbia University.
