Have You Seen My Gnome Movie Trailer

In 2004, Travelocity and McKinney relaunched the brand with an unlikely spokesperson – a garden gnome who was sitting in his favorite spot in the garden when suddenly he found himself pilfered by some Travelocity travelers and taken on a grand journey. He wrote home to his owner Bill, telling of his experiences while traveling, including cliff diving in Mexico, skiing the winter slopes, enjoying a stinky wedge of cheese in Quebec and flying, complete with eye covers. Fun, open to new experiences and a travel evangelist who is happy to pass along new information, The Roaming Gnome is just like Travelocity's valued customers. Since his travels began, Travelocity has risen above its price-driven, commoditized category to become a leader in customer satisfaction and a champion for the love of travel. Along the way their bookings increased from just below $4 billion in 2003 to just above $10 billion in 2006. And the Gnome? He’s become a pop culture icon whose travels don’t look like they are ever going to end.
