Janet Northen
Partner, Director of Agency Communications
Janet was one of the first to apply strategic corporate communications to build agency brands. She was The Martin Agency’s first director of agency communications and held the same post later at Fallon and again in 1999 when she joined McKinney. In addition to building a vast network of contacts and friendships within the national ad trade press and industry associations, her work for McKinney has earned both agency and client international media attention for the agency’s ability to create a new kind of conversation between a brand and its best prospects. She co-chairs the 4A’s Agency PR Committee and is on the board of advisors of The UNC-Chapel Hill School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
