    McKinney names David Hermanas associate creative director

    Since joining McKinney in 2003, Hermanas has created award-winning work for clients including Audi of America, Sony Electronics, Select Comfort and Polaris. His work has been featured in CREATIVITY, COMMUNICATION ARTS, D&AD, PRINT and GRAPHIS. Most recently, Hermanas earned a Silver Pencil at the One Show Interactive for The Duel for Polaris Industries.

    “Dave has really stepped up in his role creating and managing great work and inspiring the people around him,” said David Baldwin, McKinney Executive Creative Director. “He was already acting as an ACD, we’ve just made it official.”

    Prior to joining McKinney, Hermanas was a senior art director at DGWB working on accounts including Op, Toshiba and the Newport Beach Film Festival. His work for Stop Prisoner Rape (SPR) and NORML.SPR helped lobby and pass two major human rights bills in the state of California.

    A native of California, Hermanas is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach. He was the class of 1999 winner of the Karen Toshima Top Portfolio graphic design scholarship.
