Cude and Jeff Mix it up for Urban Ministries of DurhamThey CAN quit their day jobs. On January 12, Cude and JJ played bartender at Durham’s hottest restaurant, Revolution. Their moonlighting was all for the best of causes : 20% of all bar proceeds would benefit Urban Ministries of Durham. The duo raised $531.40 all for UMD. That means between 6 and 8 pm, over $2500 in food and beverage was sold to a packed crowd. On big demand was McKinney’s signature beverage for the evening, the Red Square, a concoction of vodka, ruby red and grapefruit juice.
"Revolution was thrilled to partner with McKinney to be able to contribute over $530.00 to Urban Ministries, one of Durham's most important charities,” said Revolution’s Terisa Anile. “What a wonderful way to celebrate Revolution's first anniversary!"
“We rocked,” said no-Tom-Cruise-wanna-be Jeff Jones. “That bartending stuff is hard work!”
