McKinney welcomes AAF-RDUMcKinney hosted the AAF-RDU Agency Leadership Summit on November 18. Ad leaders from all over the Triangle served on a panel that discussed the state of the industry and current economy. Representing McKinney was COO Joni Madison who promoted the importance of a strong agency brand in tough times. “It’s vital to keep a vibrant workplace and work force,” she said. “A diverse client list also doesn’t hurt either.”
She also fielded questions about agencies coping in the digital age, asserting McKinney’s staff is very comfortable in the space. “Almost 40% of our business is digital and everyone is well-versed,” she said. “The way we see it is if you’ve been in the business for the past ten years, and you’re not digitally savvy, shame on you!” She described the perfect new hire for McKinney. “We want people to have a very strong work ethic, drive and insatiable curiosity.”
