UNC Students Go the Distance for EAS at First Strat Shop

At McKinney’s first “StratShop,” 16 UNC seniors were invited to explore all aspects of strategy and challenged to apply the tools they learned in a real-world strategic assignment. After three days of emersion into interactive strategy and conversation, connection and account planning, they concluded it was well-worth giving up their fall break. “I really enjoyed the collaboration and how everyone came together,” said David Enarson, an advertising major.  “I can also see how easy it might be to get carried down one train of thought and lose perspective of the overall goal. The process was incredible.”

On the third day, two teams created winning strategies for McKinney client EAS. Both strategies served to support students’ 24/7 lifestyles and commitment to get the most out of college life. “It was clear that you really took this assignment to heart,” said McKinney Director of Account Planning Jeremy Holden. “With your busy lifestyles, you could all do with a little EAS.”
