Emmys and Critics’ Choice Awards tap “The Pitch”

AMC’s “The Pitch” is getting some serious nods from TV land’s top awards shows.
The Critics' Choice Awards nominated “The Pitch” for Best Reality Competition Series.
The show that featured McKinney winning Subway in its series premier will compete with ABC's “Shark Tank,” FOX's “So You Think You Can Dance,” NBC's “The Voice,” FOOD's “Chopped” and CBS's “The Amazing Race.” The second annual Critics' Choice Television Awards will be presented June 18.
Also, The Hollywood Reporter has suggested nominating the show in the "Noncompetition" category for an Emmy. Seriously? We could argue all day that a pitch for the world’s largest restaurant chain rivals anything those sharks can dish out. But you decide.
