Bartending for a cause

Durham's Revolution is hosting a guest bartender series in January. Twenty percent of the bartenders' proceeds will go to a charity of their choice.
Jan. 5, Durham Mayor Bill Bell will be pouring drinks for the John Avery Boys and Girls Club of Durham.
Jan. 12, Jeff Jones and Jonathan Cude, partners at the McKinney advertising agency, will be mixing cocktails for Urban Ministries.
Jan. 19, Scott Harmon of Center Studio Architecture will be tending bar for Builders of Hope.
Each night, the guest bartender will sling drinks from 6 to 8 p.m.
