McKinney won its first award of 2013 last night at The Yale Club in New York City. The Mezamashii Run Project, a campaign for Mizuno Running, defeated two other finalists in the Communications Channel Plan category through two rounds of judging to come away with a Creative Media Award.
Each year, MEDIA magazine recognizes the most creative campaigns and plans in the media industry with these awards. At this year’s reception, attendees were asked to wear party attire and bow ties (suspenders optional) “for an evening of celebration and creativity.” McKinney Director of Media Swapnil Patel and Associate Media Director Mike Manganillo dressed accordingly and accepted the award on behalf of McKinney’s entire Mezamashii team.
In an enthusiastic email to the agency, Director of Media Swapnil Patel wrote, “Congrats to everyone who worked tirelessly on the Mezamashii Run Project!”
