Joni Madison, Partner / Chief Operating Officer

Joni’s career in advertising began as a copywriter before she turned to broadcast production. Joining McKinney in 1992 as a Senior Broadcast Producer, she oversaw projects for TV and film, eventually becoming Director of Broadcast Production. She transitioned to the executive ranks as Director of Operations in 2001, later assuming the title of Chief Operating Officer, overseeing Creative Services, Human Resources, Information Technology and Office Services while still finding time to mastermind the dramatic upfit of our Durham space. 

A graduate of Appalachian State University (but still an ardent UNC basketball fan), Joni is also a fan of “giving back to the community,” spearheading McKinney’s effort in the Triangle Corporate Battle of the Bands and serving on the National Board of Directors for the Human Rights Campaign.
