John joined McKinney in 2005 as group account director on Sony. While he continues to oversee a number of accounts, his responsibilities have broadened to include oversight and development of our relationships with strategic partners in areas such as PR, direct mail, events and international needs. Previously a group account director at Publicis in New York, he served a diverse range of clients, including Vivendi Universal and BMW. John began his career with stints at TBWA, JWT and Saatchi where he worked on clients such as Evian, Lipton Brisk Iced Tea and Cheerios. He veered to the client side for several years, first helping build Imagitas, a life-stage marketing company that privatized the change of address card for the U.S. Postal Service. A native of the U.K,, John is a graduate of the University of Hertfordshire Business School.
